The Second Chance Litter

I'd had been hoping to get one last litter from Kefira with a silver torbie and white girl to keep. I wanted badly to keep those gorgeous eyes and beautiful silver coloring in the LostWoods breeding program. But despite being with McCoy for months, Kefira didn't get pregnant. It was not long after I'd given up hope that Ariane's owner contacted me about taking her back. (Ari is one of the Winter Gifts litter, the kitten previously known as Ohanna Ariane.) Circumstances had made it necessary for her to place Ariane, but if I wanted her she was not spayed and could come back to LostWoods. My second chance to keep the qualities I most admired in Kefira! So Ariane came back home, with a short stay in Colorado to visit with a new suitor, McCoy. The result was two wonderful, big babies. In fact, Chance is the biggest kitten born at LostWoods to date!

(Please note that you will see a number of photos of our cats and kittens that I've taken outside in a natural setting. The LostWoods cats do NOT go outside unsupervised! When we do go outside for pictures and occasional adventures, there is always one person and usually two watching them closely.
