Flying Away
As I write this, Ce’Nedra is flying away (on an airplane — she didn’t suddenly sprout wings! <G>) to Salt Lake City where she’ll be put on another plane headed for Colorado. She’s been a very cuddly girl the last couple nights. I swear these kittens know what I’m talking about when I tell them they are going to live with their new families! She and Taiba both went to the vet on Tuesday for their last kitten shots, but only Ce’Nedra has been clingy since. Taiba is her usual independent, trouble-making self. Ce’Nedra has been following me around and snuggling even more at night. She loves her piece of mink (freed from a teaser) and I’d planned to send it with her, but she’d hidden it well — probably from Spaz, who also loves the mink — and I couldn’t find it. So instead, she’s traveling with a puff ball, a brand new crinkle ball and a blue mouse. Bug and Polgara were kind enough to take naps inside the carrier last night and this morning, so the blanket should smell like home. :-)
Danica is not coming until next week now, due to a weather forecast too warm for shipping her from her breeder’s home. Both Sondra and I are so excited to be getting her! She’ll be the first girl I’ve gotten from another cattery for several years and the first back from one of my girls (if you don’t count the two girls already living at LostWoods.) Another couple clues for those of you who are wondering who Danica might be! :-)
I have entered Fin in a CFA show in Chehalis, WA next weekend. If you live in western Oregon or Washington and want to take in a cat show, come see me. I’ll be clerking so I won’t have as much time as usual for chatting, but I’d love to meet you. I hope that Fin will pick up his winners ribbons (remember my post about titles?) and then will be able to start working on grand points in the near future — maybe in Salt Lake City in November.

Well,the new girl could be the daughter of Blue Moon Rising of Vanir,Calliope of Ouijakatz or Fiala of Wegiekatt.I could be all together wrong:))

I am very happy that Ce’Nedra has found a show home. She will dazzle the judges:))..How is Polgara doing? Has she improved? Will she be flying soon? How is Ms.Talia doing? Do cats get morning sickness? Always wondered:))

I just looked at the updates on te website. You were right. Fin looks so much like Peanut I actually thought it was Peanut.:)))
