While I shall never be able to undertake something like this,I do however appreciate what you are doing:))))Those babies are the luckiest Kittens in the world! I wish everybody was like that!There will never be a neglected baby in the world! I didn't mean to imply that pet owners cared more about their kitties than breeders! And I would worry too about not being able to divide enough attention all around to everyone. When I had a dog in addition to my two cats, I felt like I was stretched thin loving on all of them every day! But what better chore is there than to snuggle up with lots of kitties! The thought of a small kitty leaving in a carrier to fly somewhere is truly heartbreaking. I think all your readers know that it’s not just a business for you. It was a general statemnet about how some people might see the "business" of cat breeding. I've had people -- who didn't know anything about breeding cats -- tell me that I must make a lot of money from this since I usually sell my kittens for $600. But they don't pay the vet bills, the $30 per week on litter, the $40-50 per week on food, and all the miscellaneous expenses. It's not a business, it's an expensive hobby.
