CommentsLisa, we tryed to email you from your contact us page, but are unsuccessful. We saw your kittens and are wondering how much they cost and when they would be available. Please email us at wilsonsmls@aol.com
CommentsDear Lisa, we are so excited about the lovely two kittens we are adopting from you! Such a great selection of everything from darks to lights. Your site proves immeasurably comforting til the day we see our new kittens. After a long period of searching many similar sites, no one else's came close to the warmth and good description of yours, especially in Cat Tails and Kitten pages. I only wish you were somehow superlinked so that your pages pop up more readily on the net search for everyone to see about Wegies. Great Work! your client, Chris Rimmington
CommentsI just had to see your kittens, since I have two of Bob and Mindy Kurka's and Bob wanted me to see your first litter from one of their cats. Cuties. I have the only black boy that Mindy produced - KnightRyder (Ryder for short) and I think he's my favorite! Susan

CommentsLisa, what a lovely site, and what lovely felines you have! Your Zeke makes me think back to one of my resues, an orange tabby I named marbalade, who also adopted every critter who joined the family. And cloudy insisting you get your hand in just the right position for him to settle down and sleep is flower all over again - From my long experience with purebred dogs I know that it is the best and most reputable of breeders who involve themselves with rescue - you are in good company! Gyorke

CommentsHi Lisa! It was a pleasure surfing through your website! You have a great site and lovely NFC's! All the best! Malin in Sweden http://malinr.tripod.com
CommentsLisa, The cats are so very beautiful. I have 3 cats myself. My dogs keep them downstairs tho because the black cat that the vets called the cat from hell made them hate cats. Oh well maybe one day I can get them to like cats. They are standard poodles and think they own me. They do. Thanks for letting me see your website. It is also a very pretty website. Think they are the most beautiful cats even more so than Persians and Angoras. Happy to see that they are doing so well in the competition. God bless you and your family (includes your cats because they are a part of the family) Ethel Butler
CommentsHi You have some lovely cats, I have injoing see them and surfed around Your site. Best Regards Gitte
CommentsYour site was comforting, and more than anything, it helped me to deal with my grief. The Rainbow Bridge, reading about Cloud, and enjoying the stories about your furry little children brought a smile to my tear-soaked face. I have always had a cat and they have all been an integral part of my life. I have loved, pampered and spoiled each one. Cost was never considered when dealing with their care and health. I have a wonderful vet and he doesn't hesitate to call on his colleagues and specialists when needed in their treatment. Wolfen had an eye problem and he called a friend in Houston who specializes in eye diseases in animals. Guess what? We had built a new house with the cats in mind; however, no one thought that the glass block window in the master bath with the large tile ledge would become Wolfen's favorite place and cause sunburned eyes. Well, plants were purchased, along with baskets, decorative glassware and everything else we could think of the fill in ledge to keep Wolf out of the bathroom. New pillows for the window seats inticed him to view the backyard and sprawling on the designer window seat made expecially for him. My husband and I are both cat people, the kids are grown and on their own, and our new house was designed for cats - large box windows complete with windows seats for enjoying the birds in the backyard and bay windows in the front for keeping track of what's going on in the neighborhood. I've now dried my tears, remembered Wolfen's beautiful little face and even as I sit at the computer I can almost feel that little paw reach out and touch my face to say, "Momma, I need a hug and a kiss, and then he would walk across the keyboard, ruining my report, to crawl into my arms for a snuggle and back rub before returning to the desktop to lay innocently on my books, papers, etc. and look at me with those big golden green eyes to say, I know I'm the most important thing in this house. My little grey shadow, I miss you so much.
CommentsBeautiful cats! I will have to get one some day
CommentsI just love your cats ?? I am a cat finatic. I collect them in all sizes and forms, I am the origiona maker of the "Pussy Willow Persians" These are cats and kittens made out of You got it !! I even do portrait cats in Katkins. Thank you for having a web site that just delights me. BJ
CommentsThanks for having this website. We live in Frankfort, Kentucky. This past winter during the coldest weather a strange fuzzy cat showed up begging for food and to be let in. After a few days of putting out food, we allowed Buddy in the house. I'd never seen a cat like him. I looked through websites and he has to be a Wegie. He has been neutered and declawed. We would love to know his background. Our family has had several alley cats over the years, but Buddy is something special. He is the sweetest, kindest cat we've ever had. We all love him - my wife, our two daughters and the three grandchildren. Oops, I told you way more than you wanted to know, but you can hit the delete button and it will be gone. Thanks. Al Wilson, Frankfort, Kentucky agentalw@fewpb.net
CommentsThe site is really nice Mom... your loving son Justin

CommentsHi Lisa, Congratulations on your new litter of kittens! They are all so cute! ;-)) Take care, Melissa Alexander http://www.iwcats.com
CommentsI really like it but i think you should add the prices for each so that we dont have to wait to find out i think it would help your buisness a lot more!!! Barbara lisa's note... this is definitely NOT a business for me. Breeding cats is a hobby and more goes into my decision to place a cat than merely the ability of the prospective owner to pay a certain price. Also, prices depend on the quality of the kitten and whether it is being placed as a pet or for breeding.
Commentshello i have written previously but i would like to add that i really like this site and would like to know if you had a phone i could reach you by maybe putting it on your ite will help... also there is a magizine that you should put a personal add in if you can cat fancy i bet you know of it but i would hope that youd try because i love the dedication i see and hope that others will see and most cat lovers have this magizine and will surly see your add and visit your page Barbara
CommentsHI, I just wondered, did you get some of your names from the Valdemar series, such as Talia and Tantris? Gorgeous cats! lisa's note... Yes, Talia, Kimbry, and Tantris are names from Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar books. Talia is a Herald (the Queen's Own) and Kimbry and Tantris are two of the Companions -- hence the name "Companions" for litter 2.

CommentsYou Have a wonderful site about Norwegian Forest Cats. I have a male that is 16 years old and until recently I did not even know what breed he was. Norwegians are great cats and very lovable.
Commentsall of these cats are just awesome....shadow and talia's kittens are absolutely beautiful! i cried when i read that thunder died and read your letter to her twice and just cried my eyes out...all your stories are just wonderful. my sister emailed this website to me...and i am so glad she did! i have a long haired calico (miss halo) who reminds me of maggie mayhem and two other cats and a dog (all of them rescued from shelters or from litters bound for them). i thoroughly enjoyed exploring your site; keep up the great work! sheila hudson, topping, virginia babyray33@yahoo.com thanks!
CommentsHello Lisa and Family of Furries! I certainly did enjoy visiting your site. It is easy to navigate and you sure do have some beautiful furries. I am also a breeder of RagaMuffin cats and I have to say, they are both just wonderfully sweet breeds. Thanks for sharing your lovely kitties and your love. Cloud is a beautiful boy! Sharon of LuvNMuffin www.ragamuffin-cats.net
CommentsEnjoyed your site. Especially the cat tails. I have just a regular kitty that is special to me and my husband. In fact she is our baby since we don't have kids.
CommentsHi Lisa what a lovely full coated litter!! -))) regards from France Marie-Pierre & Laïloken Cats http://www.lailoken.net
CommentsI like your site. I live in Lafayette, CO. I had the honor to live with a wegie for two years. Rumi belonged to my housemates, but I have never loved a cat so much, as if he were my family. He was hit by a car, and I can't think of him without crying. My heart aches for my own wegie. I'd be happy with a "pet-quality" wegie (I'm not into showing) but I don't know where or how to even start looking. Your email returns an error message saying the default email client is not installed. Hopefully you will answer this. Jim Groh jimgroh@earthlink.net 303-604-0024
CommentsI love your kittens! Some day I will have one! Best, Mindy G.
CommentsHi Lisa, The new kittens are so adorable. I tried to contact you via email but I'm on my sister-in-law's machine, it wants more info than I can provide it, and she's napping after doing the turkey at the crack of dawn. I'm up in Lakewood this weekend and would love to be able to visit you and your cattery but realize it's terribly short-notice. If there's a chance you're not too busy at some point, please email me at lesliemarston@aol.com and I'll try to access it later. (we were in contact over the summer about kittens and FIV.)
CommentsWonderful homepage and beautiful cats! I love your "blue" litter - they are wonderful and so furry!!! Best wishes from Sabine and Sjena's Norwegian Forest Cats - and from my M-litter http://www.sjena.de
CommentsLisa, We had a wonderful time visiting you and your Wegies last Saturday. It was an incredible treat to be able to meet and play with the Travelers before they went to their new homes. If I didn't have three wonderful Wegies of my own, I'd be very jealous of their new owners. Thanks for giving us your time and added insight to what "raised underfoot" really means. I think that keeping your "cattery" small gives all your beasts the best possible environment. Sincerely, Leslie Marston
CommentsHi Lisa, I've spend pretty much the entire day browsing through all your photo's and stories, what a joy! Great job, best site I've found. I picked up two wegies (without knowing it) from a pet shelter in Connecticut, two years ago, and besides the fact I've had great cats my entire life, these are the best. They're two beautiful blue brothers, Pinot Grigio and Sylvester. I went to the shelter with a friend, just to check out their adoption policies, and my friend asked me what would happen if I found the kittens I liked (my husband thought he didn't want cats and I was still in the process of convinving him). "Don't worry", I replied, that will never happen, I know exactly what I want: 2 long-haired grey brothers, not older than 10 to 12 weeks. So, all the kittens were taken or on hold, expect the very last case, there they were, just brought in 10 minutes prior to our arrival, and 2 grey long haired brothers 10 weeks old. These were my cats!!!! Signed the papers, went home, fought and made up with my husband (ofcourse only after he agreed) and from the very first moment the cats were with us, Silly fell asleep ON HIS HAND and from there on my husband is even crazier sometimes about them than I am. All my friends want to 'steal' them from me. I've never had a problem finding a cat sitter, friends beg us to please take a vacation so they can catsit and play mom and dad for the cats. Anyway I could sit here and write about them for ages but maybe I should finally start doing some 'house work' or as your cats agree with mine, 'mummy-playtime'. Thank you so much for your funny stories, and if you ever have a chance to write me back, I'd appreciate it. I'm thinking of adding 1 or 2 more wegies to the household, and I'm curious what you're advise is. My cats do love other cats, they try to make friends with all the neighborcats and I think adding a female kitten (they're both neutured) would be great. Best regards, and good luck with all your babies! Dagmar Venus, dagmarvenus@aol.com

CommentsAfter spending many hours researching Norwegian Forest Cats, throughout the country, your Cats and Kittens far exceed any I have seen. Your Kittens, for the most part have the same expression as our beloved cat had. We are very anxious to hear about your forthcoming litters or even about females that have been retired. God Bless You, Sue Fulmer

Lisa, I love your web site. I continue to be amazed at these beautiful animals and will keep looking and watching until my day to be a Wegie owner comes to pass. What is impressive about your site is its organization. I know how to view your adults, where to find current litters and past litters and you are exceptionally good at keeping your photos up to date. Great job! JoAnn

Hi! I really like your website. You got really beautiful cats. Especially Shira and Shadow. Shira is so sweet. Can't help falling in love with her. God luck with your future plans. Regards Jeanette S*Sweet Scarlet's www.sweet-scarlets.com
You have a lovely site that is easy to navigate, enjoyable to read, and makes a person feel welcome to your e-doorway! These kitties are special! I will be back hoping for a male! I have a story of hope for you, if you wish to share with others. I have a son who had neuroblastoma when he was two yrs. old, and we lived in the RPMI cancer research hospital, who said there was very little hope...it was terrible to experience and frightening, but the people were so lovely...but at the time it was before treatment options at all, but Jesus heals. I was "sent" a message that my son would be cured- and he was cured-they could not explain it, flew doctors from all over the world in to see how such a thing could happen! I prayed even still, always do, and is thirty years old now. Faith heals, this I know, and have seen again and again. I am not a fanatic, I just have alot of faith and always did. I own hospitality cabins for visitors to bring their pets on vacation with them, in the Adirondacks and welcome pet visitors especially. We love our four legged friends, believe they are Gods gifts and true friends, as we know they love us, and they help us to heal our broken hearts, and mend our lives. They are wonderful companions! And I wanted to share this story with you. People think I rescued a greyhound-but she rescued me! She was my best friend of the canine type-and a princess too! We have been rescued by three kitties we adore (tourist areas often have problems with kitties or doggies that people leave when they go back to the city from vacationing, very sad)and thankfully they saved us! I also have some hippos that I collected because my greyhound loved them as much as me-just loved 'em! Bless you-a wonderful website! I know this is probably too long to publish, but wanted you to know. If you are ever in the Adirodacks, please look us up! Thank you for you time and God Bless you! Linda E.
What a gorgeous sight!*****
A beautiful, well-done page. Almost as beautiful as the cats themselves! I loved your Cat Tails section in particular. So adorable!

(Please note that you will see a number of photos of our cats and kittens that I've taken outside in a natural setting. The LostWoods cats do NOT go outside unsupervised! When we do go outside for pictures and occasional adventures, there is always one person and usually two watching them closely. We do have an outside, fully enclosed run to which the older cats are allowed access, but even then we check on them often.) Site content copyright lisa s. vasa 2001-2009.
