We are not happy! Ce'Nedra called Zak and me babies. We are NOT babies! We are just as big as them! Anything they can do, we can do, too. Just watch us. As soon as they could get over the baby gate, I followed them and then I told Zak it would be okay if he did, too. So he did. And we went downstairs, just like them. And now we play on the cat tree and run all over the house, just like them. We are big!

The BBs' Kali-mom is our sister. It seems funny that our sister would take care of us like a mom, but she does. We've lived with her and the BBs since we were really little, 'cause our Talia-mom said she needed to help Kali with all her babies. It's been fun growing up with our nieces and nephews -- but it's more like they are our brothers and sisters. All nine of us are always together and we play some fun games like race cat and king of the hill. If they didn't call us babies all the time it would be really great.

So I guess I ought to introduce us, 'cause that's what LostWoods kittens do as soon as they are big enough. And we are. I'm Cyradis. lisa-mom calls me Cyra, though. Cyradis is an awfully big name for a kitten, not that I'm little or anything. I'm also brave and adventurous. I like wrestling, even with Garion and Belgarath. I like teasers, although the ones with glitter balls are sorta weird. I'd much rather chase a feather. I like sleeping in the big fluffy bed and now and then I'll cuddle with lisa-mom. She holds me like a baby and tickles my tummy. I think that's silly, but I let her.

My brother's name is Zakath -- Zak for short. He's not quite as adventurous as me. Usually he waits for me to make sure something is fun and safe, then he does it, too. Sometimes I get mad at him because he's such a copy cat, but I usually like him. Zak's favorite thing to do is pounce on stuff -- balls, teasers, mice, and all the rest of us kittens. He's a good wrestler, even with the other boys.

I know this isn't as long a letter as Ce'Nedra and some of the other kittens have written, but that's 'cause there's only two of us. It's not because we can't write stories as good as the other kittens -- we just don't have a lot to say. And besides, why should we spend all that time writing a long story when there are new things to learn, toys to chase, and games to play? That's what we're best at -- not writing stories. I just didn't want you to think we were babies who couldn't write stories since Ce'Nedra wrote their story today. Now you've met us for yourselves and you can see that we are just as big as them.

Love,

Cyra & Zak

(Please note that you will see a number of photos of our cats and kittens that I've taken outside in a natural setting. The LostWoods cats do NOT go outside unsupervised! When we do go outside for pictures and occasional adventures, there is always one person and usually two watching them closely. We do have an outside, fully enclosed run to which the older cats are allowed access, but even then we check on them often.)
